Job Title: Forensic Management Team - FMT Support Officer - Police Staff - CTPL
Salary: The starting salary is £40,380.38, which includes allowances totalling £3,009 and a 12.5% shift allowance.
The salary is broken down as £33,219 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £35,541. Plus, a 12.5% shift allowance, a location allowance of £2,009 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.
Location: West Brompton and Belvedere.
Job Summary
You will work between 2 sites at the Empress State Building, West Brompton and the FMT storage facility in Belvedere. You will support the operational Forensic Management Team, with equipment, logistics, consumables and the preparation of forensic kits.
Key Tasks
The post holder will be required to do the following:
- Prepare FMT Kits in accordance with SOPs
- Manage Exhibit Movements and support the Exhibits manager
- Support the Fleet Manager with managing the FMT fleet including arranging servicing, maintenance, and cleaning.
- Act as SPOC for Facilities Management
- Complete weekly Health & Safety checks
- Be responsible for cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment at both FMT sites
- Attendance will be five days in the office due to the nature of the role
Vetting
This post requires access to the most sensitive intelligence material on a daily basis. Applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (enhanced) (SC(e)) level before taking up the post; with a willingness to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) once in post, if required.
This post requires British nationality (some dual nationals may be ineligible) and an Enhanced Security Check (eSC)/Developed Vetting (DV)] clearance.
As the post holder will have access to very sensitive information, there are limitations on travelling to a small number of countries and we will undertake additional security checks as part of the recruitment process.
