Forensic Analyst

Key Responsibilities -

    To carry out instructed casework and provide results/findings (generated by instrument or from a limited set of outcomes) internally to Forensic Services staff.

    The role also requires technical expertise and troubleshooting of equipment and scientific instrumentation. Further technical experience of DNA profiling and data analysis would also be desirable, not essential. 

    This role is lab-based and therefore hybrid working is not available. 

    We have two roles available, one permanent and one temporary for 12 months, please fill in a preference form when applying to be considered.

    Interviews will take place w/c 5th and w/c 12th October 2026 (TBC). All interviews are to be held face to face in our Dundee Lab.
