We are seeking a Fleet Manager to lead the strategic and operational management of Lincolnshire Police's vehicle fleet. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring our fleet remains safe, legally compliant, cost-effective and fit for purpose, enabling officers and staff to deliver vital policing services across the county.
You will lead the delivery of the Force Fleet Strategy, fleet replacement programme and sustainability initiatives, whilst managing fleet operations, budgets, contracts and resources to support the organisation's long-term objectives.
What You'll Be Doing- Providing strategic leadership for all fleet management and transport services.
- Managing vehicle maintenance, workshop operations and fleet compliance to ensure maximum vehicle availability.
- Leading fleet replacement, procurement and capital investment programmes to deliver value for money.
- Driving fleet sustainability and carbon reduction initiatives, including alternative fuel technologies and fleet decarbonisation.
- Managing budgets, contracts, suppliers and performance to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
- Using fleet data, telematics and performance information to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the Force and collaborating with regional and national partners.
- Leading and developing a high-performing team, promoting wellbeing, engagement and professional development.

What We're Looking ForWe are seeking a motivated and experienced fleet management professional with strong leadership, organisational and strategic planning skills. You will have:
- Significant experience of fleet management, vehicle operations or transport services within a large and complex organisation.
- Strong knowledge of fleet compliance, governance, health and safety, and relevant transport legislation.
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, procurement activities and supplier performance.
- The ability to analyse data and performance information to drive improvements and support decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proven track record of leading teams, developing staff and delivering service improvements.
- A commitment to innovation, sustainability and delivering high-quality services that support operational policing.
