About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Finance Clerical Officer to join our hubbed administration team. This role plays a key part in delivering an efficient and effective administrative service across a range of financial and Road Traffic Collision (RTC) functions.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
Minimum GCSE Grade 4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Understanding of Force Financial Regulations, procurement processes, financial systems, and administrative procedures relating to payroll and goods/services
Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Effective interpersonal skills for working with internal and external customers
Clear and confident communication skills, particularly when offering advice
Flexibility to provide resilience across the business area and maintain service delivery
Good IT literacy and keyboard skills, including the ability to extract and research information
