We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as an Estates Security Officer in our Estates & Facilities Department. Could you be who we are looking for?
About the team/Department you will be joining:
One position is Located at our Pencoed Complex and the other security position is based at our Headquarters in Bridgend.
The successful candidate will assist the Facilities Supervisor working with the day-to-day operations for the Estates Department.
About the role and your key responsibilities:
An opportunity has arisen for a Security officer position at our Pencoed complex. The successful person will provide; 24/7 security cover. A shift pattern of 2 days; 7am to 7pm, 2 nights; 7pm to 7am and 4 days off. The role attracts 20% shift allowance and weekend enhancement.
The second security officer opportunity has arisen within our Headquarters Bridgend complex. The shift pattern on this site is 7:15am to 15:30 and 9:30am to 17:30
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
The successful candidate must
- Have security experience, be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft suite applications.
- You must be able to work as a team as well on your own and have the ability to be pro-active and use your initiative, whilst remaining calm and professional if dealing with a confrontational situation.
- To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service at all times is essential.
A current valid driving licence is essential to cover lunch breaks in each location.
Please note the successful candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to the required level MV/SC
