We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Facilities Assistant with good customer services skills and a proactive approach to contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, plant, equipment and fleet including aspects of Health & Safety (H&S), across the CTPSE estate, and have the ability to undertake simple maintenance in accordance with skill level, agreed service levels and protocols.
Reporting to the Regional Facilities Supervisor the post holder will assist with the carrying out and recording of legislative checks and test, such as fire alarm tests, legionella checks. Previous experience in a facilities/building management role is required.
There is a requirement to cover an on call rota so we are looking for somebody who can be flexible in their working hours and is happy to travel to different locations across the South East region. A full driving licence is therefore required, as there is a need to be independently mobile due to the nature of the role and requirement to travel across the region at any time during the day.
Due to the nature of our work, security is of paramount importance to us and therefore it will be necessary to pass and maintain vetting level SC together with a number of enhanced security checks. In order to achieve this, you must be a British National and have resided in the UK for the past five. Exemptions may apply for overseas or other diplomatic service (with HM Government) and studying abroad.
