Executive Support Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Executive Support Manager to join Lincolnshire Police’s Executive Support Team at an exciting time as we work towards delivering our ambitious Lincs 2030 vision.

This is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of the organisation, providing strategic coordination, governance and executive support to the Chief Officer Team. You will lead a high-performing team, ensure effective decision-making and governance processes, and help drive transformational change across the Force.

Operating within a hybrid working environment, this role offers a blend of office and remote working while supporting a dynamic executive function. The position is worked Monday to Friday within core hours of 08:00 to 16:30.

What You'll Be Doing

As Executive Support Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop the Executive Support Team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Provide strategic oversight of governance, executive business and organisational priorities on behalf of the Chief Officer Team.
  • Coordinate and oversee high-profile projects, transformation programmes and organisational initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with Chief Officers, senior leaders, partners and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC).
  • Manage executive correspondence, engagement activity and corporate records, ensuring high standards of professionalism and compliance.
  • Lead the Force's reward and recognition framework, awards programmes and leadership engagement events.
  • Monitor progress against organisational objectives, supporting the delivery of Force priorities and the Lincs 2030 vision.
  • Oversee budgets, resource deployment and workforce development within the executive support function.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring the executive support function delivers an outstanding service.
