An opportunity has arisen to work as part of the helpdesk team within the Estates Department. You will be the first port of call for all of the Force's reactive repair requests as well as organising and arranging planned maintenance visits so that expected service levels are met and that accurate records are maintained on appropriate systems and databases.

Role responsibilities:

  • You will ensure the requests are logged, processed and monitored in accordance with agreed policies, procedures and processes and raise and problem solve invoices and work orders.
  • You will be expected to liaise with Force Contractors, Estates Facilities Officers, Maintenance Officer and the external Estates helpdesk to ensure reactive repair performance meets Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements.
  • The role will also provide an array of effective administration services to all sections and staff in the Estates Department.

Essential Criteria:

  • Good working knowledge of and ability to operate a range of computer databases, packages and systems
  • Experience of working in office environment
  • Good attention to detail 
  • Ability to use Microsoft Packages such as Word and Excel
  • Ability to travel around Force area for business purposes
