PERMANENT PART TIME BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR
Starting salary £25,416 pro rata
22.5 hours per week – based at Melton, East Yorkshire, HU14 3BQ
Working as part of a highly motivated team and reporting to the Fleet Services Supervisor you will deliver a broad range of administrative and procedural tasks associated with the management and maintenance of the vehicle fleet. You will be expected to work to high standards and therefore we are looking for a qualified, multi-skilled business administration assistant.

Job Type: This position is a 22.5-hour permanent part-time post. To offer flexibility the hours will be discussed at interview.

Job Description
Some of your duties will include: (please see Job description and specification also)
- Maintain comprehensive fleet records via use of fleet management systems to ensure that they effectively meet ESFM standards, policies and procedures.
- Use software systems to produce vehicle related data, ensuring accuracy of the data and providing various reports based on this data.
- Prepare reports and undertake general administrative duties including, but not limited to, filing, data inputting, word processing, photocopying and post collection and distribution.
- Ensure all documentation associated with the vehicle fleet is completed accurately and within agreed timescales.

On the 1st April 2015 Humberside Police and Humberside Fire and Rescue Services transferred the provision of vehicle and operational equipment maintenance and Police fleet management services to their joint venture company Emergency Services Fleet Management (Humberside) Limited based at Melton, East Yorkshire, and this is an exciting opportunity to work within this single service function.
The vehicle and equipment workshop collaboration is a great example of how the emergency services in the Humber area can work together to provide a state-of-the-art facility at a much lower cost. Local blue light services are proving that together they can provide a great service to the public even in the face of severe financial pressure.
