We are seeking experienced and skilled analysts (or assistant analysts) who are looking for new and exciting experiences as a ROCTA Intelligence Analyst. This role involves working as part of a team to ensure the Eastern region has the best understanding of serious and organised criminals impacting upon the area.
The successful applicant will:
Interrogate a range of databases and systems to identify intelligence of value to departments or individuals.
Conduct daily scanning as required to assist in understanding and identification of threat, risk and vulnerability.
Be responsible for maintaining understanding the regional threat for a specified area(s) of the ERSOU Control Strategy and writing regular strategic products to inform regional and national colleagues. This includes contributing to the ERSOU Strategic Assessment, writing a Quarterly Threat Assessment, and other bespoke products as required.
Present information and analysis in ROCU, regional and national forums. Research, collate and analyse intelligence to map OCGs in the Eastern region, and support forces with delivery of OCGM, working as a force liaison and attending regular meetings.
Undertake project work, taking responsibility for scoping, analysing and presenting findings in an appropriate format whether written, visual or verbal.
Assist in delivery of SOC System Tasking in the region including assessment and moderation of regional threats using MoRiLE on APMIS.
Liaise with forces and partners to promote and enable intelligence sharing across agencies.
Produce and maintain Microsoft Power BI dashboards.
