ERSOU is currently recruiting for the Eastern Investigation Team. We’re looking for PCs and DCs to join us, with full training being provided, but are especially interested in officers who already hold the Q1 qualification.

The team
Our ERSOU investigation teams are made up of omnicompetent officers that investigate and carry out surveillance to progress their own investigations, from an intelligence package right through the investigation phase and then to the Court process. The teams consist of specialist staff trained in a number of covert tactics.
The East team are based in South Essex. However, due to the nature of this role, the teams routinely deploy across the Eastern Region and beyond, so flexibility is essential.
Type of person we want
We want Officers to apply for this role who are committed, ambitious and flexible. Officers are sought from diverse backgrounds with new ideas and ways of thinking. We want officers who want to develop and push themselves within their careers.
Although not a pre-requisite for applying we would be interested in officers who have a strong background in investigations or who have previous experience in covert/intel led policing. Advanced driving qualification is also desirable but not essential.
