Driver Offender Re-Training Scheme Co-ordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the central ticket officer to join the team as a Driver Offender Re Training Scheme Co Ordinator. 

What You'll Do:

  • Support the Office Manager in the smooth operation and management of our driver training services.
  • Represent the Force at national user groups and meetings, sharing best practice and driving innovation.
  • Lead the recruitment and development of trainers, ensuring our courses meet licensing standards and exceed annual review expectations.
  • Champion service delivery by collaborating with stakeholders and course providers to resolve issues, enhance procedures, and maintain high performance.
  • Investigate complaints and ensure effective resolution or escalation, always adhering to Force procedures.
  • Conduct course delivery assessments and Thematic Reviews, ensuring compliance with Service Delivery, Diversity & Inclusion, Safeguarding, and Data Security requirements.
  • Act as the go-to expert for all aspects of the National Driver Offender Retraining Schemes (NDORS), offering guidance to colleagues and the public.
  • Monitor course tutors for compliance, providing constructive feedback and implementing action plans where needed.
  • Manage day-to-day operations including diary management, tutor allocation, and course scheduling to maximise efficiency and meet demand.
  • Administer and train users on the Course Online Booking System, delivering initial and refresher training to maintain system proficiency.
