We are looking for two proactive and creative District Communication Officers to join the Corporate Communications and Engagement Branch.

This exciting role will support the delivery of engaging, targeted and evidence driven engagement with stakeholders and communities, and involves listening to, understanding and acting on the needs and expectations of the public, and developing insights that inform communications to external audiences, supporting public affairs, stakeholder and community engagement activity.

You will work closely with District Senior Leadership Teams (SLT), neighbourhood policing teams, and partners to ensure communications reflect local priorities, address community concerns, and build trust and confidence in GMP.

Ideal candidates will have a good knowledge and proven experience of managing stakeholders in a multi-agency environment and delivering meaningful engagement across a diverse range of communities.

Role 1: Full time 36.25 Hours

Role 2: Part time,  four days a week 29 Hours
