Digital Forensics Unit Technician - Police Staff

Join a dynamic and forward-thinking digital forensics team at the forefront of modern policing, where your work will directly support frontline investigations and protect the public.

As a Digital Forensic Technician, you will play a vital role in the end-to-end handling and analysis of evidential material, from the secure intake and management of exhibits through to the forensic examination and interpretation of digital data.

You will also provide advice and guidance to investigators, helping shape investigative strategies and maximise the effective use of digital evidence.

This role demands professionalism, attention to detail, and resilience, including the ability to handle sensitive and potentially distressing material with objectivity and care. Alongside operational delivery, you will contribute to the development of others through mentoring and knowledge sharing, while actively maintaining your own professional competence in line with industry standards

If you are motivated by purpose, thrive on analytical challenge, and want to be part of a team driving innovation in digital investigation, this is an opportunity to make a tangible difference.
