Deputy Manager/Senior Occupational Health Adviser

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Deputy Manager/Senior Occupational Health Adviser in the Occupational Health & Wellbeing Department.

This role is suitable for hybrid working; 2 days home working with 3 days from the office. We can accommodate an office in one of our local main stations across the Dyfed-Powys Police Force area. Occasional travel to Carmarthen will be required for events, meetings and training. If you want more information on your closest station, please do not hesitate to contact the recruitment team.

What you will be doing? 

To provide day to day clinical leadership and line management for Occupational Health Advisors and Screening Nurses. Deputising and shadowing for the Senior Manager Occupational Health & Wellbeing function lead as required, building skills and experience to provide future succession capability. Acting as a professional role model providing facilitative and effective clinical leadership, advice, support and guidance.
Role Specific Tasks
1. To report into Senior Occupational Health Manager who leads the force Occupational Health & Wellbeing team.
2. To deputise for the Senior Manager Occupational Health & Wellbeing as required. This will require line management of the full team, ensuring G2 patient management system maintenance and data integrity, delivery of Strategic Delivery Plan and project activities to maintain service and momentum in the Senior Manager’s absence.
