Data Analyst Internship

Our Data Analyst Internship is an excellent opportunity to build skills for your future career, offering hands‑on experience working on real projects. You’ll join the Digital Design Team within the East Midlands Specialist Learning & Development Hub (EMSLDH) on a 12 month student placement based at Force Headquarters.

You’ll gather data and use your analytical skills to provide detailed reports to senior stakeholders and produce KPIs. As part of the team, you’ll support the design and development of dashboards. Throughout the placement, you’ll receive guidance and support to build valuable, in‑demand analytical skills, including:

  • Creating Power BI dashboards using data from a variety of sources
  • Producing reports identifying compliance to inform learning and development planning
  • Responding to a wide range of freedom of information requests
  • Identifying, gathering and reporting on relevant data

This opportunity is available to current university students or recent graduates.

You must have

  • Ability to collect data and use analytical skills to interpret into graphical, verbal and written formats.
  • Experience preparing and presenting high quality complex reports.
  • A logical, coherent and consistent approach to problem solving.
