  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with partners across policing, government agencies, businesses, academia, and community organisations to strengthen collective cyber resilience.
  • Lead on specific cyber prevention projects aligned with national and local priorities, ensuring delivery within agreed timeframes and measurable outcomes.
  • Produce clear written reports, briefings, and risk assessments to inform decision-making and communicate the effectiveness of initiatives.
  • Contribute to organisational learning by reviewing new threats and trends, updating prevention messaging, and sharing best practice.
  • Engage directly with victims, including those with additional vulnerabilities, providing tailored advice to reduce risk of re-victimisation and increase trust in policing.

Who we're looking for:

  • Awareness of national and local cybercrime strategies and their relevance to prevention work.
  • Understanding of situational crime prevention principles and evidence-based approaches to crime reduction.
  • Familiarity with organisational structures and external partners relevant to cybercrime prevention work.
  • Ability to analyse crime methodologies and data to inform prevention strategies.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly through written reports, presentations, and briefings to a wide range of audiences.
  • Ability to influence and gain support from internal and external partners to deliver prevention initiatives.
  • Ability to assess risk and provide clear, empathetic advice to vulnerable individuals to prevent further victimisation.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload independently, adapting to changing demands while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in developing and delivering projects in partnership with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience of engaging communities, businesses, or vulnerable groups in awareness and prevention initiatives.
  • Experience of analysing information to support decision-making and evaluate outcomes
  • Applicants must be willing to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) once in post, if required.

Benefits:

You’ll also enjoy the kind of great benefits that you’d expect from one of London's largest employers.

These include;

  • Annual leave entitlement of 28 days plus bank holidays, rising to 33 days after 5 years of service
