We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Facilities Officer to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terror Policing.
You will be responsible for managing the CTP NE Estate, including facilities and contracts to support the provision of an efficient and robust facilities management service in CTP NE. You will be the first point of contact for all estate repairs and work requests, co-ordinating the booking of contractors on site and the DHP diary working closely with the CTP NE Projects team on all regional estates projects as well as with Estate Facilities Officers to ensure that any maintenance issues are dealt with efficiently.
To be considered for this role, you will need organisational skills, including time management, resource planning and the ability to prioritise your own workload and those you supervise. You will also have the ability to work reactively, proactively and self-manage to deal with unplanned events, with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing, providing reports as and when required.
Eligible candidates will come with experience of working with suppliers, contractors and have the ability to build relationships with both internal and external contractors. You must also have a good working knowledge of, and ability to operate, a range of computer databases, and have experience of working in an office environment, with good customer service skills and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate must prepared to work flexibly to suit the needs of the role, which includes a willingness to travel around the CTP Estate and West Yorkshire Police Force area, as required for business purposes. Access to your own vehicle and being prepared to use it for business purposes is therefore essential.
