We have an exciting opportunity working within our Counter Terrorism Policing Team. We require someone to support the Quality Manager in the delivery and management of the CTP NE Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with international standards, Forensic Science Regulator’s Code and UKAS Technical publications.

This will involve co-ordinating, conducting and being responsible for internal audits, non-conformance investigations, corrective actions and updates to the Quality Management System, to enable the provision of an efficient and effective Forensic and Digital Investigation Team service to Counter Terrorism Policing.

To be considered for this post, can you answer yes to the following questions?

• Can you demonstrate understanding of ISO standards and proven instrumental support of an ISO Quality Management System?
• Do you have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and attention to detail to check, prepare, present reports and update QMS records?
• Are you trained and have experience working in an accredited environment and have experience of auditing / assessment procedures relating to ISO standards?
• Do you have proven experience in root cause analysis and the implementation of appropriate corrective/preventive actions?
• Are you able to work under pressure, make decisions and operate to tight schedules and timescales?
• Can you recognise and handle sensitive information, maintaining the utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times?
• Are you willing and able to travel nationally for business purposes and work flexible hours to meet the requirements of the Unit?
• Do you have a full UK/European driving licence?
