CTP NE Service Desk Support Officer
Counter Terrorism Policing – North East (CTP NE)

An excellent opportunity has arisen to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terrorism Policing.
As part of a small team, you will provide technical IT support as a single point of contact to CTP NE computer, mobile devices and communications systems users. You will efficiently manage and maintain computer systems, mobile devices and help desk facility, focusing on the specific needs and requirements of operational Police Officers and staff members.
Having proven knowledge and ability to use a wide range of computer applications is essential. it is desirable to have a detailed understanding of Force computer systems and data network. You must be able to work in situations demanding sensitivity and confidentiality and can perform first line fault resolutions.
You will be an effective written and verbal communicator with the ability to interact with others and come with experience of working within a busy technical service desk or customer facing environment.
You must have a willingness and ability to travel for business purposes and be the holder of a full UK Driving Licence. In addition, you must have a willingness to work flexible hours to meet CTP requirements and participate in a call out rota.
