CTPNW - HR Resource Management Officer - Grade D - Business Services - 678

Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW) is a key part of the UK’s national counter terrorism network. We are a five-force collaboration, working together with partners to protect the public and prevent terrorist threats.

We are looking for a dedicated, committed, highly motivated individual to join our fantastic HR team. This is an exciting role for an HR professional to develop their skills and support on a wide variety of people related matters for CTPNW.

You will provide co-ordinated resource management administrative and HR support to the CTPNW Region and be the first point of contact for all queries relating to the CTPNW Resource Management process. 

About the Role

You will:

- Support the HR Senior Officer and HR Senior Partner with initial HR queries.

- Instigate regional recruitment by liaising with Recruitment SPOC’s across CTPNW to ensure the Regional recruitment process is fully co-ordinated.

- Ensure the HR Mailbox is maintained accurately, and queries are answered or escalated in a timely manner.

- Ensure that RMG actions from various meetings are progressed, recorded, tracked and appropriate responses received.

- Undertake statistical analysis and provide HR performance data and information in relation to:

  • Establishment
  • Strength
  • Recruitment
  • Sickness
  • Restricted duties
  • New starters
  • Leavers

- Manage and co-ordinate the administration for all regular HR Meetings. Prepare the agendas and action logs for all CTPNW RMG meetings and Regional Recruitment meetings.

- Provide an excellent customer service to all our colleagues in CTPNW

About You

You will:

- Have a background in a HR Generalist role

- Hold a CIPD Level 3 Diploma a HR, Recruitment or Finance Environment or be willing to work towards this.

- Be capable of dealing with sensitive information in a discreet manner

- Ability to work flexibly and mange multiple queries

- Possess excellent organisational skills

- Have excellent communication, problem solving skills.

- The ability to be adaptable and manage conflicting priorities.

- Work as part of a fast paced team

This role will be based in Manchester however due to our collaboration there may be occasions where travel to other forces in the region is required. There will be the ability to work from home, however there is a requirement for a minimum 2 days a week from the office. Flexibility will be required to come into the office more frequently when required.
