Ensure the effective service of our Regional Crime Scene Investigation Team
As a CSI Operations Manager, you will offer specialist technical and tactical advice to ensure forensic innovations are utilised, and operational efficiency is maximised. You will provide leadership to the team, supporting and motivating to ensure efficient work practices and high performance.
You will undertake the line management of a CSI team and provide the East Midlands region with a Crime Scene Coordination function and take part in a call out rota to carry out operational work over a 7-day pattern.
This post is based at Wootton Hall, Northampton. You will be required to work from other Northamptonshire locations and across the East Midlands region on occasion.
What you’ll be doing
- Identify opportunities to develop capabilities, exploit innovation and deliver efficiencies
- Ensuring that the operational crime scene examination needs of the force are serviced, and tactical issues addressed
- Assessing and providing advice, guidance, and direction to investigators for forensic submissions
The must haves
- Extensive knowledge, skills and experience in crime scene examination and related forensic processes
- Be a qualified and experienced CSI and Crime Scene Manager
- Experience in supervising, motivating and managing staff
