Crime Data Integrity Unit (CDIU) Assessor
We currently have an outstanding opportunities to make a real impact within North Wales Police as a Crime Data integrity Unit (CDIU) Assessor, where you’ll provide a crucial service to ensure the force complies with the Home Office recording standards achieving the highest level of crime data integrity. You’ll be working alongside a substantial team of experts and will receive fully structured training and continued support to ensure you thrive within the role.
With attention to detail being of the utmost importance, you’ll be able to provide expertise as a force specialist in the application of statistical classification in line with the Home Office Counting Rules and assess RMS occurrences and I-cad events in line with the HOCR and NCRS to identify individual requirements and the vulnerability of the persons contained within the reports to ensure the investigation is dealt with correctly.

You will be required to demonstrate in your application the minimum requirement for the role:
- NVQ level 3, or equivalent qualification and/or proven relevant experience.
- Good communication skills together with the ability to work well in a team environment or on their own initiative.
- Proven use of information technology to an intermediate level together with knowledge of Microsoft software.
- Proven decision making ability showing clear thought processes when applying procedural knowledge to a given situation in order to reach a solution.
