Counter Terrorism Planner

As part of the team working in the Operational Support Division you can make a real difference by supporting the provision of the Counter Terrorism Planning Unit to our officers and staff.

Key Responsibilities -

The Jobholder will develop, implement, review and validate (through training and exercising) National Security and other significant contingency plans and procedures as required for Police Scotland (in conjunction with other agencies) to respond to terrorist incidents in line with the UK CONTEST Strategy.

They will also assist with the planning and delivery of Major Force Operations.

The working hours are 17.5 and this will be Monday, Thursday and Friday 0900-1530 however can be flexible if required.
