Your opportunity
As a transferee constable you will bring valuable experience and skills to our team contributing to keeping policing safe. Our roles are available in response and community policing across all our policing divisions in Scotland.
We offer higher pay scales than elsewhere in the UK (look here) and a broader range of skills development.
Requirements
- You must be a serving constable in a recognised Home Office Police Force* in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, or with the British Transport Police.
- You must have completed 3 years police service at the point of application
- You must be free of complaints
- We do not accept applicants who were direct entry detectives to their current force
- You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to upholding the highest standards or professionalism and a commitment to our code of ethics.
