Key Responsibilities -
To assist in monitoring strategic Force and Command Area communications.
To ensure the effective and efficient direction and deployment of specialist Force resources.
To ensure the professional operation of the Area Control Room.
This role will be responsible for supporting the work of the Duty Officer, identifying specialist resources and providing assistance to operational officers and partner agencies, utilising a wide range of IT and communication systems.
Ideal candidates should be experienced ACR Controllers – however, candidates who are not ACR controller trained will be expected to go through full training and be signed off.
Ideal candidates are those with sound decision making skills and a clear understanding of risk and vulnerability-based assessment of incidents. They must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be self-disciplined, motivated and possess proven communication skills
