Communications and Media Advisor (Maternity Cover)

About the Role

Being a part of the Corporate Communications team at Lincolnshire Police means never having the same day twice. It also means ensuring that our communications engage with the public to inspire trust and confidence, and to support our Lincs 2030 transformation plan for changing, improving and modernising policing in Lincolnshire.

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Media and Communications Advisor to join us as our West area lead, ensuring we create and deliver impactful communications that support force priority issues and objectives.

This is a 12-month maternity cover position, offering hybrid working.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a key role in delivering effective, engaging communications across the West area, helping to ensure our messages reach the right audiences and support policing priorities.

Working as part of the Corporate Communications team, you’ll help develop and deliver communications that inform and engage the public, build trust and confidence, and support the Force’s wider objectives.

Why This Role Matters

Effective communication is vital to building strong relationships between the police and the communities we serve. Your work will help ensure that the public is informed and engaged, while supporting the continued improvement and modernisation of policing across Lincolnshire.

It’s a varied role where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to make a real impact through meaningful and effective communications.

  • Able to create and deliver clear, engaging and impactful communications
