Communications and Engagement Officer

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner and play a key role in delivering high-quality communications and engagement across Dorset.

Working as part of a small and supportive team, you will contribute to a wide range of activity, from campaigns and media work to digital content and community engagement. You will help ensure people across Dorset are informed and engaged, supporting the Police and Crime Commissioner to deliver the Police and Crime Plan and build trust and confidence in policing and community safety.

You will be confident developing clear, engaging content, managing competing priorities, and building positive working relationships with colleagues, partners and the public.
