CJS Traffic Process Administration Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Administrator on a fixed term basis to provide high‑quality support to Lincolnshire Police and its partners, including the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership, CPS, HMCTS and members of the public. You will play a vital role in delivering accurate, efficient and ethical administrative services relating to road traffic offences, prosecutions and safety initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Process penalty notices, notices of intended prosecution, conditional offers and driver/rider education programme information.
  • Create, update and quality‑assure case files for speeding offences, road traffic collisions—including fatal collisions—and other traffic‑related matters.
  • Input, maintain and check data across Lincolnshire Police and national systems, ensuring accuracy, integrity and compliance with GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Liaise with partner agencies, officers, and members of the public via email and telephone, providing clear information, advice and support.
  • Generate and issue postal requisitions, Section 9 statements and associated documentation.
  • Ensure all correspondence and records are completed to required standards and within set timeframes.
  • Support colleagues across the Criminal Justice Services (CJS) unit and assist with training when needed.
  • Attend court to give evidence when required.
