Applications are now open for the Chief Inspector Promotion Process.

We are seeking exceptional leaders who can demonstrate the capability, credibility and influence required to perform successfully at the rank of Chief Inspector.
Applications are welcomed from eligible internal candidates and external candidates on promotion or lateral transfer. The process is designed to identify those who can evidence readiness to operate at the rank of Chief Inspector now.
This promotion process adopts a holistic approach to assessing promotion readiness, recognising leadership capability, organisational impact and professional judgement aligned to the Chief Inspector Role Profile and the College of Policing Competency and Values Framework.
