The Role

We are seeking applications from both uniformed and detective officers to fill roles across our county policing, community safety, safeguarding and investigations commands.
This role isn’t about ticking boxes or sitting behind a desk but working to change the perception of policing in Norfolk, delivering a service our communities are proud of. The successful candidate will be able to balance tactical problem solving with strategic planning, whilst providing exceptional service.
As a Chief Inspector your drive and determination will be to improve the constabulary’s service levels and to match the passion showcased by our chief officer team.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the role of Chief Inspector candidates must meet the following conditions
Current substantive Inspector seeking promotion or substantive Chief Inspector seeking level transfer
Is not currently under a formal stage for UPP
Is not currently under a formal investigation for conduct
Professional Development Reviews (PDRs)
You must submit your PDR for both this year and last year with your application form.
