Camera Enforcement Officer

As part of the team working in the Operational Support Division you can make a real difference by supporting the provision of Road Policing within the Safety Camera Unit to our officers and staff.

 Key Responsibilities -

Undertake the deployment of Safety Cameras and associated equipment in accordance with the aims of the Scottish Safety Camera Programme to enforce speed limits and influence driver behaviour, reducing speeds at identified locations.

Attend court as Reporting Officer when required.

Seeking candidates who have good hand and eye co-ordination, ability to succeed in lone working and who have a knowledge or interest in Road Traffic Legislation.

This role is 17.5hrs, please refer to shift pattern attached to vacancy.

Driver’s licence is essential with the ability to drive up to a 3.5t van.
