 About the Opportunity

Help shape the future of policing in Staffordshire by joining our Strategic Change Team. We are looking for a motivated and versatile Business Analyst to support the delivery of a wide range of projects aligned to our Force Priorities and Policing Plan.

Policing is evolving rapidly and this role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference. You will use your analytical skills to understand problems, interpret complex data and provide clear insight that supports informed decision making across the organisation.

What you will be doing

  • Gathering and analysing data from a variety of systems
    • Mapping and improving business processes
    • Supporting forecasting, demand modelling and benefits analysis
    • Facilitating workshops and engaging with teams across the force
    • Producing high quality analytical and descriptive documentation
    • Contributing to post implementation reviews and continuous improvement activity

  • Strong analytical thinking and an eye for detail
    • Confidence in interpreting data and presenting clear findings
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
    • Enthusiasm to work in a fast paced and evolving environment
    • A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn
