In this unique and rewarding role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the SIU meets its statutory, accreditation and compliance obligations in the management of sensitive intelligence and secret material. • Develop, implement and review systems, processes and governance frameworks that support national accreditation standards.

  • Produce compliance reports, conduct audits and provide assurance to key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs).
  • Deliver briefings and provide specialist advice to personnel across the South East region.
  • Support training compliance and professional development requirements for SIU staff.
  • Maintain critical records and registers that underpin operational compliance.

We're looking for someone who can bring:

  • Experience working within a secure environment handling confidential or sensitive intelligence.
  • Experience of compliance, assurance, governance or audit processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • The confidence to challenge, influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to work with complex data sets.
  • A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel across the South East region.

You will be asked to demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours in line with operational demand and occasionally this may require working away from home. For this reason a full UK Driving Licence is essential to the role.
