Area Workshop Controller

We currently have a vacancy for a Area Workshop Controller at our Sulhamstead Workshop. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high‑performing professional team, where you will oversee the maintenance, servicing, and repair of mechanical and electrical components on police vehicles, ensuring all work meets both manufacturer and police standards.

The role also includes responsibility for maintaining DVSA compliance, upholding health and safety requirements, implementing quality control measures, and supporting the wider operational needs of the workshop.

We are seeking an individual with the drive and enthusiasm to ensure the workshop operates as efficiently and effectively as possible on a day‑to‑day basis.

Applicants must hold a minimum of NVQ Level 4 in Motor Vehicle Technology or be willing to undertake CLDP or equivalent ATA training. Recent experience working at the level of a workshop controller—or equivalent—within a workshop environment is essential.
