6438 Communications Data Investigator and Single Point of Contact (SPoC)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Communications Data Investigator (SPOC) to work alongside officers across Gloucestershire Constabulary in tackling crime

The role of Communications Data Investigator (SPOC) will be to provide expertise, guidance and advice to police officers and staff on the process for:

  • applying for communications data,
  • the data that can be obtained including its interpretation and wider use of communications data

The successful candidate will need to have proven experience of working with communications data and would desirably be a qualified Communications Data SPOC with current operational experience. Those not qualified will still be considered and if successful in the application process would need to be prepared to attend and pass a residential course at the College of Policing, upon taking up the role.

The successful candidate for this role will be vetted at level Staff MV + SC. This means the individual will need at least 5 years worth of residency in the UK.
