Applications are invited from candidates wishing to join a team involved in the recovery and viewing of CCTV evidence in support of major crime investigations. You will need excellent communication skills to engage with the public and business owners in the vicinity of crime scenes; and excellent analytical and written skills to review material and prepare evidential reports.
The successful candidate will be able to liaise and work with other agencies to support Major Crime investigations including the Highways Authority, local councils, public transport and private companies to develop professional relationships.
Capability to travel across the Force is required in order to undertake assignments in a timely manner and work flexibly. Due to unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working public transport may not be suitable. For this reason, a full driving licence is considered essential for this role.
