Business Development Officer

The Yorkshire & Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit (YHROCU) delivers specialist capabilities to tackle serious and organised crime across the region. We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Officer to support the continuous improvement and transformation of our services.

Key Responsibilities

Business Change & Project Support

Actively support the design, development and implementation of business change initiatives to transform YHROCU services, contributing to database management and research to ensure successful project delivery. Attend regional, national and local sub user groups to highlight issues, share good practice and make recommendations for improvements across YHROCU.

Risk, Performance & Business Support

Support the monitoring the YHROCU risk, and assist relevant leads with report writing and presenting performance findings for accountability processes and oversight meetings.

Provide administrative support to the Senior Business Development Officer and the Business Development Manager, while contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of administrative systems to ensure efficient and effective business processes.

Meetings, Workshops & Engagement

Organise and attend meetings, coordinate workshops and facilitate focus groups to support the delivery of innovative business solutions. Additionally, prepare agendas, monitor actions and ensure effective follow up to promote smooth project and business operations.
