Senior Crime Intelligence Analyst

As a Senior Crime Intelligence Analyst, you’ll support a talented team, strengthen the force’s analytical capability and play a pivotal role in how data and insight drive operational and strategic decision‑making.

As Senior Analyst, you’ll guide and support a team of Analysts working across a wide range of intelligence, investigative and strategic products. You’ll champion high standards, embed analytical best practice and contribute to the development of force-wide analytical capability.
You’ll also have the opportunity to influence organisational priorities, shape analytical direction and help ensure that high‑quality insight underpins policing decisions.
In this role, you will:
- Provide leadership within a high‑profile, multi‑disciplinary analytical environment
- Support and mentor staff, helping grow capability and confidence across the team
- Lead on quality assurance and promote consistency in analytical outputs
- Influence the development of analytical approaches and tools at local and national level
- Contribute to staff engagement and continuous improvement activities

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proven experience producing high-impact intelligence products
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer service abilities
- Experience in tactical, investigative and strategic work
