We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional ESN Programme Manager to manage the coordinated transition from the Airwave public safety communications system (PSCS) to the new Emergency Services Network (ESN).
This is a high profile, strategic leadership role responsible for ensuring ESN readiness across regional police forces.
You will oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of a consistent regional transition programme that meets national policing criteria and complies with relevant legislation.
This is a permanent position, however it is expected to be a 4 year project.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and coordinate the regional ESN transition programme across East Midlands police forces
- Provide expertise in programme management methodology and practice
- Drive collaboration and planning across emergency services
The must haves
- Experience of programme management and knowledge of policing
- Understanding of ESN or similar large scale technology transitions
- Capable of strategic oversight and hands on delivery
