Fixed Term Contract/Secondment 12 months from start date
Thames Valley Police are looking to appoint a Business Process Analyst on a secondment or 12m Fixed Term Contract. You will have business process analysis skills and experience to lead work with stakeholders across the force to design and optimise business processes for improved performance and efficiency, in line with the force's strategic priorities and to deliver programme/project benefits.
In this role, you will apply business process methods and techniques to analyse current business processes and workflows, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions and redesigned processes that achieve the best outcomes.
The successful candidate will hold a Green Belt Lean Six Sigma qualification or equivalent, and/or previous experience in a business process analysis or process re-design role. Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills will be evidenced. Candidates will demonstrate planning, prioritisation and the proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
If you are a permanent member of staff applying for this role, please note it will be offered on a secondment basis. Important: All secondments must be supported in writing by your Line Manager and Head of Department/Commander or Deputy. Please attach written approval from your line manager and Head of Department in your application. If the secondment is not supported then the role may be offered on a fixed term contract basis, but this has implications including loss of continuous service protections.
Please note: Shift allowance, on-call or other job related allowances from the previous role will not be protected unless they are attached to the new role for the duration of the secondment.
