About the Opportunity
Join us as the Strategic Recruitment Lead and shape the future workforce of Staffordshire Police. You will drive how we attract, select and welcome people who want to protect and support our communities.
You will lead the Recruitment and Onboarding team and guide activity across every hiring route, from police officers to staff and volunteers. You will use data to plan future intakes and keep talent pipelines strong. You will work closely with senior leaders and build links with schools, colleges, universities, regional forces and community groups to reach people who want a meaningful career in the public sector.
You will take charge of our employer brand and create attraction approaches that reflect our purpose and values. You will look for better ways of working and improve the systems that support candidates from first contact to day one, making sure every process is fair and supports consistent decision making.
You will bring high levels of experience in workforce planning and strategic recruitment. Be confident advising senior leaders and comfortable working in a complex environment. You will have CIPD Level 7 and strong knowledge of employment law. You will set clear standards, support your team and drive performance.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car are required.
