We have an exciting opportunity for a Command Team Support Officer to join our Command Team at Nottinghamshire Police.
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and has significant experience in a personal assistant or business support role.
The successful candidate will:
- Provide an efficient and effective personal assistant service to enable the Senior Leaders to operate with maximum efficiency, working both independently and as part of a team.
- Organise meetings, prepare and distribute relevant meeting documentation, on behalf of the Senior Leadership Team. Produce accurate minutes/notes of meetings in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update the electronic diary system for Senior Leaders, including the booking of appointments, arrangement of meetings, forward diary planning to maximise their availability and effectiveness, and arrange the booking of itineraries, travel and accommodation.
Skills and experience:
- Previous significant experience of Personal Assistant or Business Support Role at a senior level.
- Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience of minute taking at a strategic level.
- Experience of managing busy diaries and conflicting appointments and prioritising appropriately.
- Ability to work on own initiative, to plan effectively, be self-motivated, prioritise workload and have the ability to multi-task and manage competing demands.
- Ability to work effectively and flexibly within a small team working for a variety of different senior leaders.
