Lancashire Constabulary are looking for officers to transfer to Lancashire to join as a Serious Organised Crime Unit Constable within the HQ Crime Division based at Hutton Headquarters.
The purpose of this role is to proactively investigate Organised Crime Groups operating at level 2/3, whose activities pose the greatest risk, threat and harm to the communities of Lancashire.
Key Responsibilities:
- To participate in intelligence led operations directed at disrupting, arresting and convicting level 2 offenders in partnership with other law enforcement agencies and departments.
- To prepare files of evidence to the highest standards and in liaison with CPS collate and present evidence in the form of a prosecution case.
- Interviewing of witnesses and victims to obtain evidence.
- To organise and prepare risk assessments and operational orders in line with current policies.
- To establish and maintain productive working relationships, with Divisional colleagues, and partner Law Enforcement Agencies, maximising the use of Regional covert assets.
- Develop the use of Digital and Technical covert capabilities for intelligence and investigation.

Eligibility
To apply, officers must:
- Be a current serving Police Constable.
- Have completed their 2 year probationary period with their current force
- Hold a full valid UK Manual driving licence
- Be PIP2 Accredited or currently completing their PIP2 Accreditation.
- Hold the Nationally accredited College of Policing Level 1 Surveillance Qualification.
Application and Interview Process:
Once the application window has closed, all applications will be shortlisted, and those successful at paper sift will be invited to attend a face-to-face interview at Hutton Headquarters. Where travel is not feasible, interviews may be conducted via MS Teams.

Candidates may complete the fitness test at Lancashire Constabulary.
Alternatively, officers who are currently in ticket to Level 5.4 or above with their existing force (within the last 6 months) may transfer this result, provided they supply official proof.
