ERSOU - ROCU - PC/DC - Regional Investigation Team (SIT)
ERSOU are recruiting motivated and professional constables to help tackle some of the most harmful organised crime groups across the Eastern Region. The success candidates will be involved in apprehending the Region's most dangerous criminals, developing intelligence, building evidence and securing convictions.You will work within a team of highly skilled and dedicated detectives using a variety of covert investigation methods. The team target serious crime including significant drug traffickers, firearm suppliers and those heading organised immigration crime.
You will be based in South Bedfordshire but will have the ability to deploy direct to various locations across the Region. Core shifts are 0800 - 1600, Monday to Friday, however a flexible approach to working hours is required.
This is a demanding role and when fully trained you will be a surveillance trained qualified detective. The advert is open to detectives and police constables, and if successful you will be supported through the relevant training. Candidates will need to be motivated, dedicated and take pride in delivering quality service. In return ERSOU will develop you to become amongst the most highly skilled and capable detectives in the UK.

Selection will be via paper application, surveillance pre-assessment and interview. If you are not an advanced driver you will need to complete an advanced driving pre-select prior to being offered a position.
