ERSOU - ROCU - PS/DS- Regional Fraud Coordinator

This is an opportunity for the right candidate to join ERSOU’s Regional Economic Crime Unit in the role of Regional Fraud Development Officer, this is a bespoke coordination and implementation post which is directly linked to our partners in the City of London Police, the National Lead Force for Economic Crime. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual, who has solid evidence of coordination and partnership working. They will need excellent communication skills and be comfortable briefing to peers and presenting to our local force teams as well as providing insight and messaging to SLT’s and SMT’s across the region.

Applications are invited from substantive Sergeants and those who have passed NPPF step two legal exam, are currently supported on the promotion process, and are seeking an acting opportunity.

The candidate must be highly organised and happy to manage multiple, sometimes diverse, tasks at any one time. Supervision is currently only to the regional fraud PROTECT coordinator, however that could expand with growth in this new area of business. The successful post holder will join the RECU supervision team which covers all facets of economic crime and provides an inclusive support network across one of the more complex crime types in Policing and Law Enforcement.
