Janitor - Grade B

A number of vacancies have arisen for highly motivated janitors to work within this essential function of Business Support Services. The successful candidates will provide an efficient janitorial service which will include maintenance, cleaning and minor repair works within GMP buildings to our officers and staff at the following locations:
- Longsight
- Claytonbrook
- South Manchester
- Central Park
The successful candidates will need experience of working within a similar position previously and are flexible in their approach to work, having an understanding of equipment and tools required for the role and are able to work to the standards and frequency within the janitorial specification, ensuring compliance with GMP policies and procedures and the Health and Safety at Work Policy at all times. Successful candidate will possess good communication skills and be fit to carry out duties including bending, walking, pushing, lifting and handling equipment.
Please note that the successful candidate will need to hold a Full UK Driving licence as there may be occasions when you are required to cover other sites and travel to different locations. Mileage allowance will also be included within this position.
