Cleaning Supervisor - Business Support Services -Grade D

GMP are looking for five highly motivated and experienced Cleaning Supervisors. These are new positions and will support the newly appointed Cleaning Manager in providing cleaning excellence across GMPs large and complex estate.
This exciting new role is key to achieving an outstanding cleaning service across all our sites. The successful candidate will manage up to 20 cleaners, will have good communication skills and extensive line management experience including managing staff development, attendance and performance. The role will be suitable for those individuals who are able to plan and allocate cleaning work across multiple areas or sites, check and maintain the expected quality standards ensuring health and safety compliance. You will need to have a good understanding of cleaning methods, equipment and materials.
Supervisors will provide training and undertake personnel duties in respect of performance and attendance management. You will be mobile - visiting your designated buildings on a weekly basis, making regular contact with your cleaners and providing cover for leave, sickness or vacancies for other Cleaning Supervisors and buildings as required.
Supervisors will liaise regularly with District and Branch customers and Facilities Managers to ensure site cleaning requirements are met and there is a coordinated approach to the service.
