This is an interesting role and will suit those who enjoy working across a number of agencies. The post holder is required to work over numerous work streams, creating briefing documents to assist with the development of partnerships and contingency plans to deal with numerous issues which could arise, such as major incidents and other significant occurrences across the Devon and Cornwall and Isles of Scilly (DCIOS) area. This is a dynamic role which deals not only with preparing for events, but also assists in times of emergency, and the delivery of major incidents. The role forms part of a very small team and so the ability to work collaboratively toward an end goal is absolutely vital.
Please note: We have advertised this as a temporary contract until March 2027 as this is funded by Government grant which is unclear beyond that date. The 2 year requirement for training in the advert relates to a longer term contract.
