- S26-205 Customer Complaint Officer (LC5-6)

Lancashire Constabulary is looking for a professional and customer-focused Customer Complaints Officer to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring that complaints and feedback from the public are handled fairly, transparently, and in line with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high quality, efficient and effective service delivery to customers.
  • To comply with all regulations, policies and procedures and national guidance in respect of complaints.  
  • To provide, promote and demonstrate a high-quality customer focused approach to all aspects of the role, ensuring regular contact with customers, managing expectations and delivering a quality, impartial and informative service on all aspects of complaint cases.
  • You must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels in a variety of formats.

Skills and Experience: 

  • Experience of providing customer advice in a busy environment.
  • Experience of dealing with members of the public and working in partnership with other departments and agencies.
  • Experience of providing accurate detailed written reports, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail
  • Experience of dealing with people in difficult, sometimes confrontational circumstances. 

Vetting and Medical:

Please be aware, as a condition of your appointment you must undergo and pass Management Vetting. Please be aware there is a minimum 5 year UK residency requirement for Management vetting and you must be 18 years old at the point of applying. Successful applicants will also be subject to a medical assessment.
